Hello!  Welcome to my blog page.  I am a first time blogger and am excited to be able to share my thoughts and feelings with as many people as possible.  I titled this particular blog Love What You Do, because that is my over all theme.  In fact it is on my logo.

When the owner of Massive Motives, the creator of my website, asked me to come up with a phrase to place on the logo he was creating for me, it took me a few days to think of something.  I wanted a statement that would be captivating and catchy.  Then I realized I was over thinking things, and asked myself what I truly wanted people who visited my website to know.  Well, I want you to know that it is not only okay, but important to love what you do.  It is essential that we live our lives loving what we do, no matter what we are doing, or why we are doing it.  Times get hard, almost unbearable, but we must love the tasks, and responsibilities we are charged with, because life does not last long.

I am a social worker, and I love what I do!  I am not burned out.  I simply want to do something else that I love.  The reason I can still love what I do is because of the time I have spent building a relationship with God.  When I realized that God is the ultimate provider for all things, I no longer felt it necessary to carry the burdens of others on my shoulders.  That alone changed how I did my job and my outlook on life.  I love God, and know that in all parts of my life, he sustains me.  For that reason, I can love what I do.  I encourage you to love GOD.  Through him all things are possible.  Love him even if you are not doing what you thought you would, or should be doing.  Know that he has a plan for your life that likely looks and feels a lot different from the one you have for yourself.  I know my life is nothing like I imagined.  Often times it is difficult, but because I am convinced that it is what God planned for me, I would not have it any other way.  He makes it possible for me to LOVE WHAT I DO!

  2. That is exactly what pulled me into healthcare. I have worked quite successfully in a few different fields. But I am always drawn back to healthcare. Healthcare, Biology and Science in general has been very interesting to me since I was a little girl. It comes very naturally somehow. I love being able to help others especially when they may have family members that can’t give them the care they need. Not everyone has the stomach for such work. I don’t think it was ever really a part of my plan. But it was clearly God’s plan for me.
